Take Action on Radon, a national initiative funded by Health Canada is currently running a limited-time Radon Mitigation Grant program through Canada’s certified radon mitigation professionals, offering $ 500 off the cost of a radon mitigation system.
This is a pilot program, available by invitation only.
If you have been invited by a C-NRPP Mitigation Professional and the results of your long-term radon test is above 200 Bq/m3 , you can submit a copy of your report along with a copy of the quote for your radon mitigation work to apply for the grant.
Fill out the online Homeowner application form here.
Take Action on Radon will review the homeowner applications and send approval via email directly to the homeowner and the C-NRPP professional. The professional will then extend the $ 500 rebate directly to the client and complete the radon mitigation work.
Radon mitigation work is to be completed by August 31st.
We welcome questions about the project at firstname.lastname@example.org
This pilot project will take place within a very short timeline of only a few months, and the data gathered will be reported and made available to inform more extensive grant programs.
The application period for homeowners will be from June 15th through July 31st.
Homeowners participating in the Take Action on Radon Mitigation Grant Program are still eligible to participate in Take Action on Radon’s Radon Reduction Sweepstakes.
Applications will be reviewed in as timely a manner as possible and will be approved at the discretion of the TAoR team. Decisions will be emailed to the Homeowner and C-NRPP professional.
